Embroidered Hankies?
I want to get my mom and FMIL embroidered hankies, and a few people recommended exclusivelyweddings.com, but with the personalized message, each hanky is over $30 plus shipping! I thought that was high for a cotton handkerchief....anyone have any other suggestions on where I could find this a little cheaper, yet still reliable?
Thanks

Re: Embroidered Hankies?
I just bought hankies at a linen type shop. Check the local flea markets. And took them to Dokars (don't know if they have that up North) and they embroidered it. The whole thing cost me maybe $20 each. The hankies were only like $6 and the embroidery like $10. Then I wrote my own poem. Just had the names embroidered.

Re: Embroidered Hankies?
Yeah the hankies on exclusivelyweddings.com were expensive, it was about $50 for FMIL hanky that we embroidered to say For your Tears of Joy, Our name and Date. That was the only thing we are getting her though and FI said it was fine.

What about The Magic Needle in Sayville. They are on this site in the accesories category. I knew I had seem someone on this site who does this and I checked and saw there was one. Good Luck!

What a sweet gift. I love it!I second weddinghankies.com. There are lots of hankies for a wide range of prices. I have a lump in my throat from reading some of the poems.
Fifth one is free, too!!
