EMERGENCY!!!!!!!!!

alrighty ladies - i need some MAJOR help for a friend of mine. She ordered all her attire from Paradise bridal including her veil & headpiece...her wedding is in 4 weeks and her veil & headpiece still haven't come in -so she's been hounding them all last week about 'where are they' and they kept reassuring her that everything is fine. Today she called one more time and the lady started a 'let me be honest' speech about how she doubts either piece will be in by her day. needless to say she's freaking out. they dont have any floor samples in the style of her veil....(it's a really high traditional veil that comes 'up & out' and then is cathedral length.) Does anyone have any ideas on what she could do??? ie:companies that are QUICK or someone who makes them??? i dunno - something!???! lol i just feel terrible for her - she had her heart set on this (i'm sure all u brides understand!) and now she has to figure something out with no time to order...and no time to use it for her hair trials. please help!

How about Barron's in Tri-County? Or even Ebay?

I would tell her to call Barrons in the Tri County Flea market and see what they can do. They might have something like that in stock & avail or they may be able to make one for her in time.
They have better prices than most bridal stores.

Tell her to quickly contact Kathy at Occansey Designs (OBridal.com

She custom makes ALL types of veils. Tell her the situation, send her pics, and I think she'll be able to do it for her!!! Her usual turnaround is about 3 weeks but if you tell her the situation she could probably rush it.

Def check out barrons... everyone on LIW swears by it! I finally went there this past Friday, one month before my wedding and I found exactly what I was looking for, bought it and took it home the same day! They have great stuff for every type of hair style!

Theres a place in Brooklyn. I know it's a hike but they have a really big selection. I think it's on Kings Hwy.

2 ideas, go to Davids and settle for what they have in stock or go to weddingaccents.com, if you call I bet they can rush your order, they have great customer service!!

Call Lillette's in Baldwin. They make custom veils there and they can also order veils. I had one custom and one pre-made ordered veil - both were in VERY quick.

Call them and see how quickly they can come in!

I ordered mine from the Wedding Center in Commack and it came in really fast. You can give them a call and see if they can help you.

i ordered mine at macys and they screwed up and it was discontinued, long story short i was really mad and had to order another veil, they got it in a week, maybeit was even 5 days... go there! good luck!
