Since Emma has been about 7 months old when she nurses and my nipple falls out of her mouth she would grab it and put it back in her mouth. Since she has been about 10 months old instead of putting it back in her mouth she takes it between her thumb and forefinger and pinches me!!! IT HURTS!!! I get her to stop when she is awake but the time I have the most problem is when she wakes up at 5AM. She pinches sooo much then and I dont want to tell her no and wake her up completly. So I just move her hand away. But that doesnt stop her from doing it again. HELP I need this to stop. I need ideas!

Ouch, Karen!! I don't really have advice b/c I have not lived this experience.
But, I will share a tidbit of info from what I've learned regarding sleep training and discipline for a 12 month old...whatever you decide to do, just make every effort to be consistent. Even if you have to stop nursing right then, you have to show Emma a consequence to her action. So, if she pinches, then she doesn't get to nurse. You have to be willing to be the 'strong arm of the law' with this. If you are not super consistent, then she will only learn that you have a weakening point, and as long as she continues to test you, you will give in eventually.

See thats my problem I dont want to stop nursing her then have to be awake at 5AM. I am so not a morning person. It just seems no matter how many times I move her hands away from it she always wants to pinch... its when she is sleeping so its not a consious(sp?) thing.
