Empire Carpet (hardwood floors)

Has anyone dealt with Empire? I've always seen their commercial on the TV and wondering if they are any good? We are looking to replace our wall to wall carpeting to hardwood or laminated flooring, and needs to find the best deal!

I used a really great company. They redid the wood floors and they also installed a wood floor in a room that did not have it. I would highly recommend them. They were also very reasonably priced and started the next day.

We used Empire Carpet for laminate floor in foyer and berber carpet in den back in Jan of this year...

They were great to deal with and not too expensive (they were running a special) and they did install right away. The sales guy comes to your house and shows you a bunch of styles (you can do evening and Sat appts) and then they measure and quote you a price right there. You schedule your installation then also.

We couldn't do real hardwood in the foyer because there is asbestos underneath so it prevented me from having anything nailed into the ground. I have existing hardwood in the other rooms of the house. I know alot of people don't like the look or feel of laminate but I think it looks fine and is cleaned easily and wears well thus far...

We paid 2100 altogether for both rooms....I can't remember the total number of square feet - however the laminate flooring was the more expensive project and that is less square footage..

We just ordered carpeting and hardwood flooring from Empire. The sales guy was great! They showed me exactly the styles I had asked for and gave me a price immediately. We're due to get it all installed next Saturday and move in the next day!

Home Depot took two weeks to get back to me with a price and then had all these conditions and extras listed
