Employee Discounts

I am wondering, DH and I are moving back to FL in a year, and buying a home, I am seriously considering getting a job at a place like restoration hardware, simply for their employee discount till my major staple items are purchased. has any one done this?

I work at SEARS in their HR department. I highly recommend them if you are buying a new home!

I just started a month ago and they are a great company.

My discount is very nice!

I work in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida.

The office is called the Hub so if you go to sears.com and see any openings for the hub then that would be the office. The hours it is open varies store to store. Ours is only open from 7:30am till 2pm

I worked in Sears. I don't know if the people i the ub get a better discount, but when I worked there we got 20% off everything except for electronics I think which were 10%. That would be GREAT for starting a new home. You could even just work as a chasier, aprt time for the holidays and you'd still get the disocunt.

I know Home Depot is terrible with discounts.. Employees only get discounts 2 days a year... and they give you like 2 days notice as to when they are going to do it.
