Engagement announcement--HELP

Hi ladies, FMIL is posting our engagement announcement in the local paper. I just wanted to know if this is okay or if I'm missing anything:

Mr. & Mrs. R---- of Hicksville
and
Mr. & Mrs. J---- of Middle Island
joyfully announce the engagement of their children:

Cindy Louise
and
Raymond Joseph

A July 2006 wedding is being planned.


(Also, what parents are listed first?--she is listing it & its her local town)

Also do we list where we went to school & where we work?

I think since she is announcing it her name goes first and then if your mom announced it then her name would go first

ETS I don't think you need to put your schools but if its your FI town paper then you could say that he is a .... graduate of...High School

So basically it is just the announcement no listing of school/work, correct?
