Engagement Favors

As some of you may have read, I was in a bad car accident on 6/11. I am home recuperating (Ihave 2 broken ribs). The accident happened the night before our engagement party. I was in the hospital for 4 days, so needless to say, it was cancelled. Since I will be home for quite some time, I decided that I need something to do. My mom and I went to Michael's crafts to get yarn so I could crochet a blanket (I walk like I am 90 yrs old, I might as well act it, right!) And we came across the candy making aisle. I decided that I will make little choclate roses to give out as favors for the e-party(when it gets rescheduled). We bought all the stuff to make them and little clear bags and ribbon. It should be fun. And it something for me to do other than watch tv! Just wanted to share

I gave out chocolate roses at our engagement party! They were a hit and really fun to make!

For my friend's e-party we made choclate lollipops shaped like daisies. We put them in clear bags and put a tag on it that said 'He loves me, he loves me not, he loves me...so we're tying the knot - their names and date'
