Engagement Favours ideas??? Any other cute e-party ideas? 3 weeks away!
Please help girls! Could anyone give me some ideas for a nice favour for my upcoming e-party? Or any other cute ideas for the party? I appreciate all help!!!!!! ( I need it!)

I am doing votive holders with candles in them, wrapped in tulle with ribbon and a personalized ribbon. I did these for a bridal shower and will be doing it for my e-party in April 2005. They are inexpensive. I bought holders in 'bulk' (pk of 12) from Joanne Fabrics. Bought a bolt of tulle (I know i will use it all eventually). Ribbons are about $25-30 for 50. And candles, I happen to be a PartyLite consultant, so I can get them CHEAP! If you'd like I can send a pic of the ones I made for the shower. Good luck!

To be honest, I have never even been to an engagement party before - so I have no idea what to do!!!! Are we supposed to cut a cake together? Am I supposed to have a guest book or something? I don't want to make it like a wedding! When do you give the favours out? Beginning or end? helpppp!!!

We gave those wedding cake candles. My FMIL bought them at a 99 cent store and they came already wrapped. All we had to do was add ribbon

They're very easy to do and don't cost a lot! I'm making them to sign our picture frame at the wedding since our theme is 'wildflowers.'

I gave out chocolate lollipops and they were really easy to make. We also gave out STD's and CD's we had someone make for us.

we bought silver plated bottle openers in the shape of an old fashined key...my mom made tags that said 'Love is the key that will open the heart' and 'Jen and PJ 12/13/03' on the back
she also made chocolate lollypops that people horded on the way out

For our engagement party, my mom found these cute candles that came in a round ceramic box. The lid of the candle had a ceramic flower on it and the box was painted with flowers. She found them through Current and they were inexpensive. We also gave out STD magnets and announced our website.
We also had a guest book and cut the cake together. The party was outdoors under a tent and we did a nautical theme. The cake was decorated with sugar shells.

I forget how i found them, but they have cute statinary and favor items as well- and everything can be coordinated.
My fave is the the cookie cutters with cookie dough mix.. I mean, who the hell doesn;t want cookie dough??!!
I just looked- and all favors are 25% on right now!

Mine will be in my parents backyard and my friend is making us yummy chocolate engagement rings and I bought some save the date magnets to give out as favors. We will have a cake, food, and beer of course. Nothing too crazy. Which my mom would calm down!
