Engagement for FH

Now, Are you supposed to get something for your FH for your engagement after we get our engagement rings? I've heard of this before I think. If anyone did What did you get him??

He got my commitment to marry him...that's enough as far as I'm concerned. LOL...although he did suggest a jet ski would be a nice engagement gift for him.

I wanted to get FH a diamond bezel Tag Heuer watch, but instead my parents bought it for him and told me to save up my money for other wedding things.

He loved it!

A friend of mine got her FH a 56' high definition tv. My FH just got a nice framed poster that he wanted.

Well.. we got engaged in October of last year, so for Christmas I got him a claddagh ring... we call it his engagement ring though

We had a trip booked to Vegas when we got engaged. So I paid for the trip since he was making payments on my ring.

Nope. The wedding gift will be enough-trying to decide but both gifts are around $5000.

I don't think you're supposed to, but it's becoming more common these days. I got FH a nice watch. I'd say about half of my friends got engagement gifts, and the other half did nothing. FH and I aren't exchanging wedding gifts - we're spending enough already!
