Hi, girls! I need your advice. A friend of mine (not a close friend) got engaged last week and now the couple is hosting an hors d'ouvres and drinks engagement party this weekend. They obviously haven't registered, yet, so I was wondering what I can get them for an engagement gift. Any ideas? Thank you so much!!!

Re: Engagement Gift?
Maybe a nice picture frame for their engagement or wedding pic.

A gift certificate to a store you know they like and will probably register at. Or you can get them a wedding planner book, you know they'll need it!

I think a gift certificate is a good idea, we got a few for places like Pottery Barn and Crate & Barrel and I know they'll come in handy when we're furnishing our apt.

Re: Engagement Gift?
I like all the ideas the girls said above. A GC is always helpful, but a pretty frame or something is nice too. Go to a Hallmark Store. They often have some really great gift ideas in their bridal section

Re: Engagement Gift?
I'd say money.
At our e-party we got a lot of gifts...but have nowhere to put them....but $$ went nicely in the bank

Money never hurts . . . or maybe a gift certificate to BBandB, Fortunoff's . . . some place she might be likely to register.

Re: Engagement Gift?
I would appricate a gift card or just check and see if they are registered. Maybe they didn't announce it.
