Engagement Gift??

So our engagement party is coming up and my parents dont know what to get FH as a gift... His mom already gave me a beautiful diamond cross when we first got engaged because she didnt want to wait for our party... Originally I was thinking that our parents would just give us something for the both of us, just throwing the party is enough really, i dont need a gift... But since his mom already gave me something, now my mom is trying to think of what she could get him... I was thinking a watch? Nice cuff links? I can't really think of anything else other than those choices... Any ideas?

Well - I didn't know u are supposed to get individual gifts. My parents gave us a wine fridge for the 2 of us as engagement gifts. Never got anything from his parents...
