I did. I bought him teh Saturday ticket package for teh Mets (all saturday home games) because he didnt get the package for himself and put the money towards my engagement ring. So, I thought, I would do something nice for him! Its not fair he has to spend big $$ on a ring and he doesnt get a present either . . .JMO
I didnt. I got my E-Ring Christmas Eve and that was my Christmas present too.. I know FH couldnt afford anything else and i'm fine with that.. so the way i see it, i got him a psp and games and clothes that christmas. so I dont see the need to get him an Engagement present.
hmmm well since our 1 year is coming up I am buy a Wii for our apt ! well for him but I will be using it too :)
I didn't. But I will get him a gift for the wedding. I am probably going to get him a english bulldog. thats what he has wanted since he was a little kid.

I didn't. And I dont think we are doing wedding gifts either. Just one more way to save money!!
I didnt...but he thinks the flat panel TV I got him was it...but it was really for his 30th bday...ahaha

I gave him an engagement gift. We got engaged while vacationing in Vegas. He saw an autographed Doors album that was signed by Jim Morrison in a shop in Cecears Palace. He loves The Doors and it is hard to find an authentic autograph. It was in a big 16 x 20 matted frame so we talked the guy down in price and they gave us a good deal including shipping.
Since your FH's b-day is coming up you can get him something special...something bigger than usual. good luck!!![]()

we got engaged our on are anniversary ... i got him a 55 inch tv he wanted so that was his anniversary/engagement present ... i also ended up getting him a movado watch too ... however i am not giving him a wedding present since we are paying for the wedding ourselves ...
ETA: i dont think its nesscary i just always felt it wasnt fair fo rht eguy to dish out all this money and he gets nothing ...
i didnt either ...we just had a nice dinner together
Our wedding gift to each other is the upgrade to First Class on our honeymoon flight!
he told me he doesn't want one..he would rather i save the money for the wedding...so instead of getting him a huge gift..i've been getting him little 'just because' gifts throughout the past 9 months we've been engaged...making big dinners on the weekends..buying random things i know he needs/likes...
