Engagement Gifts Received

I was just curious, has anyone received any kind of engagement gifts other than money/checks/gift cards?

Board Crasher, but yeah, a LOT of stuff off the registry we created (cause FH's family was asking and FMIL kept hinting at BBB) has been purchased. So far, we have 12 place settings of our china, 3 sets of towels, a 10 piece pot set, a food processor, and a few other things.

I was in shock, was not expecting to get anything until the actual wedding

We are not registered anywhere yet. So far we received a few small items like a wedding journal and photo keepsake boxes, bathroom decor... but then we got a digital photo frame, Lenox candle stick holders and vase, a pretty quilted comforter, and service for 8 formal silverware set. I was NOT expecting that!

Lots of picture frames, and 3 toasting flutes, garters, etc.

yes, but we registered--at the request of our guests--for our e-party.

We didnt have a party but we got some money and houseware stuff. Oh and a few things for the wedding.

we mostly got money, which was veryyyy nice. aside from that we got some all clad pieces, toasting flutes, all of our dishes & glasses.
we also got some stuff for christmas, vera bradely luggage, serving pieces......

we registered for these reasons, we figured some people would want to get us gifts, so why not get what we want.

we are having a small e party of 55 people... just immediate family and bridal party... but we have gotten stuff from other people

Toaster, wine accessories, photo album, frames, wine bucket, FMIL got us waterford wine glasses, hurricanes for the table, butter dish, oven mitts, apron, towels, ummm....I think that was about it. We got a lot of gifts at our e-party!

we got mostly money and gift certificates to target and BBB. My parents did get us a kitchen aid 5quart professional mixer and his grandmother got us a precious moments cake topper (the cake topper is really pretty, but it might be WAY too heavy to use on our wedding cake...)
