how many of you girls have had or are going to have an engagement party??? where was it???any themes?? and who planned it for you? how many guests ??
I am having one the first weekend of december i can not wait for it i got engaged the end of july and booked it the next day because i knew i always wanted a big eparty
its at a hall and we invited about 240pp our parents are splitting it it was suppose to be smaller but we just kept adding people
we probably should just get married at the eparty at the rate of how big and what is going into it i feel like it is turning into a mini wedding
i just wanted to see if anyone else had an eparty like this i can not wait for it

we had a bbq in my backyard. about 50 people.
no theme.. just colors throughout.. blue, white and black.
my parents made all the food, and FH's parents helped with the desserts.

We had an Engagement party, on july 7th It was at Novita in garden city. they have a separate party room. We had a casino gambling theme since it was on 7-7-7 I planned the whole thing, it wasnt that hard, me and FH picked the menu, and the gambling tables we wanted. and then me and my BM did the menus, place cards, and the centerpieces, and set up the favors and all that stuff. She helped me make it all print it and cut it and assemble it. The invites i ordered from Elite.
We only had 55 people wich is way way less than what you are having, I felt it was a perfect amount of people.
I was really sad the next day when it was all over, but i quickly got over it after a few days passed

We had one at a restaurant, about 50 people, only close family and friends. My parents gave it to us. It was perfect.

Our engagement party was in May. We invited all of the family and their children because there will not be any children at the wedding. (except for flower girls and the ring bearer) Our parents hosted the party it was in an American Legion hall

We had an e-party last july. We got engaged in april and we had booked the hall that following week. We had about 100 people and it was at the fox hollow.
