Engagement Party

We are trying to decide on a theme for the engagement party.

If you want to do a theme, I think that casino is the best bet. Think about it, men HATE this sort of thing, and the casino just gives them a reason to like it. You can set up some card and dice games, and let them have the time of their lives. I mean, hey, the men should get a little fun out of this right?

I voted for casino but be careful...I had joked about doing it for our e-party and FH of course LOOOOVED the idea but then i thought of it, he would spend ALLLL night playing, so would many of the men who would be at the party, this is just how they are. I dont know what your FH is like and how into this is he, or the other guests

so are mine but as long as they dont start setting up beer pong tables til the parents leave.

I think a casino theme is the only interactive theme that you have to choose from. The point of my eparty was to have everyone get to know each other so having interactive games would have been fun for everyone.

Thats true...Idk I really like the Mardi Gras theme since everyone has known each other for 4 years and has came to the kids birthday and stuff.

SO then Do Mardi Gras....you mentioned it twice in this thread already... I think you have your mind made up....check out Oriental Trading...they have a million different things for a Mardi Gras theme...Have fun!
