Engagement Party

Hi! Tonight is my engagement party and I am confused on what to tip the dj ( 2 mc's ) ? Any ideas? What have you done? Also do you tip the bartenders??

What would you tip the hair dresser?

I am also getting my make up done at MAC in the mall? Would you tip them??

As for tipping, not to sure about the DJ because we opted not to have one for our e-party. As for my haridresser I think I tipped him $10 because I only got a blowout. And makeup I don't think they will except tips because they are doing your makeup at the store, I say try to give $10-$20 and see if they take it. I know at my store the makeup artists are not allowed to take tips.

I think tipping 18% is good for the djs and bartender on total tab

my hairdresses charges 35 for my hair and I usually tip 10

and as for mac if you love it I would say 10 as well.

Tip your hairdresser like you normally would...Makeup, tip like the hair, maybe $10-15 based on how good the service is...DJ I am not too sure of...Maybe something around $150-200 to split between the two of them?

Mc's typically get tipped more then the DJ (oddly enough a lot of time people forget to tip the DJ and just tip the MC)

$75 for DJ and maybe $150 for the MC is fine.

Esp if u are having the same company for ur wedding
