I just recently got engaged and it's kind of throwing me for a loop! My FH and I are pretty much footing the bill for the entire event...but I really want all the things that go with a wedding, especially the engagement party!
I am trying to come up with places that are on the inexpensive side and can hold a party of 75-100 people! Any ideas? Suggestions? I'm not looking at halls...maybe just a restaurant or nice bar even! Thanks!

Try renting a hall and catering it. That's what we do. We rented a VFW and they had a bartender with an open bar (or you can run a tab). FH is a chef and does catering so we actually cooked all the food ourselves!!!!! It was awesome!! if you need any catering let me know!
