Engagement Party/Camelot Limos

We had our engagement party on Saturday and it completely blew me away. It was originally supposed to be a low key thing at a VFW type hall on the water - but it got destroyed during the hurricane and we had to book somewhere else with a weeks notice. The Stewart Manor Country Club recently took on a new place - the Nassau County Bar Association in Mineola and it was beautiful!! James ran it and even though it really was more like a wedding, it was amazing! We kept the cost low by eliminating the cocktail part and having a buffet instead of a sit down dinner. They let me use all the decorations I had planned on using at the other place and I really still can't believe how awesome it was!

We had booked a car with Camelot to take us and our parents so no one had to worry about drinking and driving - the original location was a half hour away. The night of ,an Audi Limo showed up at my house! I really couldn't believe they had upgraded us to something so nice!! Anyone booked with Camelot - you are in great hands! The driver was early and I have absolutely nothing to complain about! I put pics up in my album

Can I ask...without getting too nosy...was Camelot resonable? I was thinking of booking them for my wedding.

You're not being nosy...that's what these boards are for! I think that if you have an idea of what you want to spend, Joe will find some way to stay within your budget. We're spending more than I wanted bc FH wanted an expensive car. I'll FM you my quote

they are SUPER reasonable. I booked the Audi limo and a Bentley and I can tell you that they were CHEAPER then any other company I went to and the other companies were offering Excursions and vintage cars. Def go and talk to Joe. They will find something to work with your price range. Theyre amazing there!

wow thats so nice! i went to a shower once there, but back when you had to be a member (i guess before stewart manor took over?) it's a really nice place! especially that front room!
