Engagement Party Caterers

We are planning to have our E-party this summer in our back yard with some tents. I want to hire a couple of people to take care of the food (cooking and delivering), serving, and maybe a little cleaning up. Nothing too fancy. Anyone know of a good place to use? TIA

I'm not sure where you are located, but we used Margaret's Pasta in Commack. We had tents, tables, food (obviously), a bar, bartender, servers, a heater....all ordered through them. They did a really nice job.

So it's not too soon to have an Engagement party if you're getting married in 2007???? I was thinking of having one this summer also but some people on here said wait until at least a year.

we used culinary in Huntington - handled rental of chairs, tables, bar and all food - we had a lot of appetizers and steak and seafood

we did not need a tent

We used Red Dish in Commack for the catering and it was great. FTRBRIDE is my FSIL and her e-party was awesome too. I really liked the food she had - really good classic Italian. Red Dish is a little more eclectic, so if you have people who are kind of fussy, they may have a bit of trouble. I think we used A-Z Rental for the tent, tables, and chairs. They are in Commack too, on Jericho Tpke. Congratulations and good luck!
