engagement party dress help

My party is June 7th and I need a dress - I am looking for something cute any suggestions? It seems like I always get a BCBG dress! I would like a bright color, since I usually wear black.

Anyone see any cute bright dresses lately?!

BCBGMAXAZRIA Woven Party Dress

wore it to a wedding and got a ton of compliments on it!
i got mine at lord and taylor on sale for like $60
and i saw it on dillards.com (im a big online shopper, so even tho there are no dillards in ny)

I'm having the same issue right now for my E-party June14! In case you were wondering, there is nothing to be found in Macy's, Estelles, Dress Barn, Annie sez, Nordstrom Rack or the Roosevelt Field Mall.

JK :) but thats where I have been so far. Lord & Taylor, Nordstroms, Bloomies next... Is it corny to wear a short white dress? lol my FH said I definitely can't! (but i did find a cute one in WHBM) :)

Macys has a TON of dresses b/c of prom season. Jessica McClintock always has cute dresses. You can go to both in Roosevelt Field Mall...while you're there you can also check out bloomingdales & nordstroms. Department stores always have a ton of dresses.

I got a really cute strapless purple dresse from bebe ...... it was $100 but def worth it......everyone wanted to know where I got it from.

Why couldn't you wear a short white dress? I wore a white dress for my eparty (I wouldnt say it was short, but it wasn't long, either. Maybe 4 or 5 inches above the knee.) I got a lot of compliments on it! Any e-party that I have ever been to, the bride always wore white or black and white.

I am going to go to the BCBG outlet tomorrow!
That's funny my FH thinks that I shouldn't wear white either!
I love WHBM – and I saw a really cute black dress there but I don’t want to wear black – I guess if I don’t find anything else. . . . .

I wore a short white dress too!

French Connection UK better known as FCUK has adorable fun, bright sundresses.. There a bit pricey too but I think they are beautiful. They also have sales sometimes. Just to give you some examples...

Ok, so I lied. My e-party dress was actually at the knee, not above the knee. I got it at Ann Taylor for 50% off of 150. All of my BMs were asking if they could borrow my dress. I think that white screams, 'HELLO! I'm the bride!!!' You don't want to blend in with your guests, but JMO.

Thanks Girls! I really like the white dress. . . . . . I was hoping to get white for the rehearsal dinner, and something bright for the e-party. I am going shopping today wish me luck! I hope that I find something!!! I only have 2 weekends. Yikes!
