Engagement party dress ideas?

Hello Everyone


Next month I am having my engagement party (Very excited), but I am having a hard time finding a dress. I have been to a ton of stores and still nothing. It is a daytime brunch in a restaurant and I think the daytime part is throwing me off. If anyone could share where they found cute dresses I would so appreciate it. Thanks!

Did you want to do white? Everyone has white on sale now since its after labor day!! I found my dresses for the shower & day after wedding brunch at lord & taylor for 40% off!!

I had the same problem. I couldn't find a white dress I liked so I opted for a white tulle skirt & a top. Everyone loved it. (pics in my album). Maybe since it's daytime you can go for a skirt & top.

I ordered my dress from ModCloth I didn't want white I wanted to save that for the wedding really. So fh and I wore one of our wedding colors which was cobalt blue.

Heres another option...Renttherunway.com.

My cousin did it for her shower, got a $1,000 dress for 40 bucks. You rent it and return it. They sent you a size bigger or smaller (depending on what you want) and the shipping is free both ways. Her dress was gorgeous. I have SO many dresses i'll never wear again, so I'm going to do this for my shower and rehearsal dinner.

I second both Modcloth and rent the runway!

I got mine at the gap (pics in my album) and it was perfect!

I got a Tracy Reese dress (usually a designer for anthropologie) from Lord and Taylor online for my shower that would be super cute for an engagement party.

I have gone through the SAME thing. I actually just picked a beige dress I already had because I was having so much trouble finding a dress! Or... you can look on pinterest and go through their websites there. I'm sorry! I went through this too- and I was so frustrated!
