Engagement party favors..

My mom insisted I get them, so...I wanted something useful yet cute. I always utilize the wine stoppers, so, what do you think?

Hold on, need to resize...

Re: Engagement party favors..

those are nice wine stoppers...for our eparty I did ornaments...I ordered them from oriental trading and wrapped them up in tulle and ribbons myself. Worked out to about $100 for everything (glue sticks, hot glue gun, tulle, personalized ribbon, thin ribbon to tie up the tulle and 84 ornaments)

Re: Engagement party favors..

I bought organza bags from some online store they were really cheap and we put a little card saying ' Thank you for helping us celebrate, wishing you LUCK and LOVE' and in the bag is a scratch off lotto ticket and some hershey kisses.... we also put our save the date magnets in there for guests to take home. We wanted them out really early bc we have soo many OOT guests. Those who won't be at the party we will mail to them. This way it saves on postage too.

if you read this lauren (laurenandmike618) sorry to ruin the surprise, buttt you'll get yours in a week and a half!

That's a really cute idea who wouldn't like a lotto ticket lol I wish I had thought of that, we ended up doing the picture frame placecards which counted as the favor as well.

Re: Engagement party favors..

i think theyre really cute and practical and best thing is that people dont have to have a set of the same ones like they do with other things so i think it works out perfectly

We got truffles from Morgan's Bay Confections in Babylon. They put them in these cute little plastic jars with one side saying 'Michael & Laura' and the other side said 'June 5, 2010' and they had a red ribbon. Each jar had a white chocolate truffle, milk chocolate truffle, and dark chocolate truffle along with a few chocolate hearts.

ETA Pics (I ate the chocolates already )
