We did engageMINTS. They were adorable and the mints were delish! They came in little tins and you can customize the label with graphic, monogram, names, date, etc.
I got 2x2' white boxes from Michael's ($12 w/coupon for 100 - only used 80), wrapped them in 1/2' ribbon (3 rolls we're like $6) and stuffed them with hugs & kisses (10 per box) and bought custom stickers from etsy to stick on the top ($20 for 80). I wish I had a picture of the final product!

Re: Engagement party favors?
I gave coasters with leaves etched in them. There was a tag that said, 'Fall in love.' Our e-party was in November so we had a fall theme. Try favorfavor.com. I found them to have the best prices and a great selection.

Re: Engagement party favors?
I found our favors at nicepricefavors.com and got the heart shaped wine bottle stoppers. They were such a hit!! And they were delivered super quick and were of great quality (not chinsy at all). http://www.nicepricefavors.com/p-1902.htm. We got 65 so they were $1.11 each
I would, however, recommend wrapping them because they came in a very boring white box. I wrapped ours with silver wrapping paper, silver ribbon then ordered custom labels from www.beau-coup.com (http://www.beau-coup.com/personalized-designer-labels.htm) that I stuck on the outside of the favor. They looked great!

Re: Engagement party favors?
We are doing mini wine bottles - you can even make the labels yourself or you can make tags, which is super simple. You can buy the mini bottles are you local liquor store.

I used teabag favors from pippy sweets. They were $50 with shipping for 60 tea bags. Here is a photo:
did you wrap those tea bags yourself, or did it come with the plactic container that they are in?

Re: Engagement party favors?
I found a pack of 12 votive candles in IKEA for about $1.99 (it was a pack of corals & pinks on sale) and the white/ivory was like $2.99 for 12. and i bought their glass votive holers-pack of 4 for $1.49. Went to the fabric store; bought some tulle & ribbon & we made them at home I literally spend maybe $45 in total. The ribbon was probably the most costly.
