Engagement Party Favors

Hi Ladies!

I need help with engagement party favors. I thought I was going to make cakepops to save on money but after mine and my MOH trial run tonight it didnt go so well.

That being said I have about 100 guests. Its the day before Easter and I am not sure. I am not looking to spend more then $150-200 on favors the most. I personally think for the engagement party they are a waste but, what should i get???

I saw some in AC moore wondering if I could use the 25% off your entire purchase on them.

Thanks in advance it's stressing me out

Engagement Party Favors

I made cakepops, and it took me 3 or 4 batches to finally get it right. What recipe did you use? I can send you the one I used, it worked really well.

I made 300 cakepops in under 6 hours with the help of my cousin and FH. It took probably another 2 hours for the chocolate to dry, and then another 2 hours or so to wrap them.

Completely agree that favors for the engagement party are silly, but this was a lot cheaper and easier than buying something no one is going to use ever.

Engagement Party Favors

I like the cake pop idea, or if those are too hard maybe can you make cute little cookies? Or like whoopie pies?

For my engagement party my mom just bought 'Key to my heart' bottle openers from beau-coop's site and there is usually a deal for a % off or certain amount of dollars. We did 1 per couple or family if there were kids so since we had 80 people we only order 45 and it was not that expensive bc I agree on not wanting to spend that much on favors for an eparty.

We got apothecary jars wholesale and are filling them with Jelly Belly's. They came with personalized stickers. You can find them cheap wholesale. I think we got 96 of them for $100.

Get a chocolate mold for chocolate covered oreos! They are SO easy to make! Oreo's don't cost that much and neither does the chocolate. Then you can just throw them in a cute little bag :) HTH!

We did wine bottle stoppers that had an engagement ring on top...it was perfect! A big hit! I think they cost just under $3.00 a piece.
