My fiance and I have our engagement party coming up in January... we're keeping it small (family or clase family friends, about 40 people). I have no idea what favors to get. Any suggestions? Are they per person or per couple? We're trying to keep this inexpensive; I'd rather spend the money on something for the wedding. Help!

Re: Engagement Party Favors - need suggestions!
in my opinion, edible favors are always the best, maybe get some good chocolate, like godiva or lindt and put two in some tulle and wrap them up....or a bottle of wine per couple with a personalized label...

i say edible favor or wine, also.
you don't have to give a favor for your e-party if you don't want to.

IMO favors are not necessaty for an e-party. we didn't have any and no one said anything.

We did little boxes filled with m&ms in our colors ... the ivory ones were personalized with our names ... they weren't inexpensive though .... and they were a lot of work!
Favors are definitely not necessary for an e-party, but something edible is always good!

I had my engagement party on oct 21, 2006, So i did a fall theme. I had a wrapped candy bar, and mini candies wrapped. I also had a personalized candle favor. all with an autumn theme.
We also used M&M's in our colors (pink and brown), only we didnt personalize them on the back so it cut the price. They sell them in 5 pound bags in almost every color. We got small plastic baggies and tied them with ribbon (all different patterns of pink and brown). Then I just printed labels on the computer and we were done!
