Engagement Party Halls

Anyone have recommendations for where to have an engagement party? My parents want to have one for us but, I don't want them to have to spend too much$$$ TIA

Villa Lombardi has a nice enclosed patio room - my brother's engagement party was there and it was really nice.

I had mine at Marconi Manor in Islip. It was nice and priced just right! I believe they are a new vendor on this site now.

Alaina, we had my sisters sower at Pomodorino is Hauppauge. It was less than $30 a person for food, drink, & cake. There is a private room downstairs with private bathrooms and a dancefloor. You should check it out!

my fil's hosted ours at Cafe Testarossa in syosset
its the place where the family has all sorts of parties but it was perfect for our e-party

as guests arrived, we greeted them in the bar area and had like a cocktail hour..then we moved into the dining area and circulated there

it is a beautiful but not uptight place...i think i have some pics in my albums if you check

Re: Engagement Party Halls

My best friend just had hers at The Meadow Club on January 3rd.

Food was good, service was great, and I know for a fact that it was $30pp for passed hors d'ovres, unlimited beer, wine, soda, and full meal including appetizer, salad, pasta, choice of beef chicken or fish, cake, coffee and tea. That was for a 80 person minimum. I went w/ her to pick the menu b/c her FH lives in Boston, and they had tons of choices.
