Engagement Party Horror Story

I am so sorry

I'm sorry to hear that. I hope the two families got along nicely once your family arrived. Any meetings of the two families is always stressful.


My e-party (friends only - family one is next monht) is this weekend at my sister's NYC apartment and I'm freaking out that there's going to be too many people to fit in her apt or that it will be too hot or that a neighbor will complain about the noise and call the cops. We assumed a lot of people wouldn't come but I guess because it's right after the summer ending, most everyone is coming and it's going to be mighty cramped in there!

2 1/2 hours late there is no excuse for that, i would be furious.

What did she do, leave her house at the time the party started. If she left early like she should've then even if there was traffic she couldve gotten there on time.

My cousin, who also happens to be my maid of honor , was responsible for picking every one up and they were all going to drive together from BK to LI. I don't know why I didn't think she would be late since everytime we have a family gathering she is 4 to 5 hours late. She claimed she was stuck in traffic from her house to my mother's.

I really regret making her the maid of honor. She's supposed to help relive any stress yet right know she is the cause of all my stress

I didn't have an eparty...but at My RD my DH's family had a brawl and was literally hitting and biting each other. I had to call security to pull them out of the room to the parking lot. The place called the cops. It could be worse!!
