FH and I FINALLY picked a date for our E-Party. We are going to be having a casual catered backyard BBQ in June... How far in advance would you send out the invitations?

We sent out ours I think a month in advance, giving people 2 weeks for RSVP and 2 weeks from RSVP until the party.

We sent ours out 5 weeks in advance. Ours wasn't a formal party though. We just rented out a wine cellar room in a restuarant and treated our friends to a nice dinner.

i sent mine out 2 months before i wanna say??? all i know is they had approx. 4 weeks to RSVP, and then 3 weeks from RSVP til the party, which is on March 22

this is what we did too! ours was informal and in the backyard... so we didn't really give a lot of time in advance, since it was more impromptu. it worked out just fine good luck and have fun!!

Two months is good, especially because the closer you get to the summer the more people travel so it gives people a heads up for when to plan their vacations and such.
