It comes in a package..and you DIY online. It is a template with a picture on it (mine as a diamond ring I had to add to it) and you pick which sayings you want and can add to it!
I am having a really small eparty so it wasnt hard for me..guess it depends on your size.

I'm not having one... we got engaged in April, and I'll be home again next April. I thought that an engagement party was something that you do like right after you got engaged, I felt that if you did it in the middle or closer to the wedding it looks like you're just trying to get more presents. But it seems like lots of girls are waiting awhile for their e-party... someone educate me please

that's exactly what i thought too. My parents wanted to throw us one and i thought is was going to be before christmas but my brother is in the NYPD acedemy and graduating in December so they are throwing him a party first. They didn't want to combine the two, they felt it wouldn't be right. They wanted to wait till warmer weather so we could do something outsideish. The logic was the wedding isnt till sept 2012 so throwing it a few months after getting engaged isn't a bad thing....
I totally understand your point though... We just had a special circumstance

I got engaged in June...a ton has been going on and were not going to be able to have the party until Feb...and its going to be very small.

i just got a ring shaped invitation from a place on jericho turnpike..it was called your invited..they were great and i got the invites in about a week
