We didnt register because we really didnt need that much at this point... A lot of people were asking and we explained that and we were more concerned with renovating the house and whatnot... We got mostly cash/checks, some gift cards and some gifts, mostly wine/cocktail related because we entertain a lot.
I am not planning on registering for my e-party. My friends didn't have e-parties but my fiances friend so so he wanted one. I don't know the etiquette but according to him, people usually gift money gifts to help pay for your wedding.
We didn't have a registry for our party, but we were about to buy a home, so we got a lot of BBB, lowes, or Visa GC, which was sooo helpful!. If you know what you guys want, make a registry! But don't make it just to have one if you havent thought about it yet!
