Hi all, being that I am very new at this whole being engaged thing I am wondering about engagement parties. We are planning one for late May or Early June. I am wondering who gets invited to the engagement party? Everyone you plan to invite to the wedding? How far in advance should we send out invitations? What is your advice on whether or not we should give out favors at the E-party? Any advice would be helpful. Thanks. FM me if you want.

im having my e-party at the end of may as well, and were sending our invites out this week (even though i think its a lil early)
as far as who to invite, i would just make sure that anyone you invite to the e-party is invited to the wedding
for favors were actually doing a candy bar

For our e-party, we had our bridal party, immediate family, closest aunts, uncles, cousins, our godparents, some close friends that aren't in the bridal party, and some of our parent's closest friends. It was about 50 people.
We did small favors. They were these little plastic jars and each one had truffles and some other chocolates in them.
