Engagement party theme ideas

I was planning on doing a luau but I had a luau last year so I it might be lame for me to replay that again. Any ideas?

ETA: The party is going to be at my parents home, not a restaurant

LOL...I actually thought of that...I told my father I wanted to fill the entire yard up with sand to fully create the beach...it really didn't go over so well!

YOU CAN DO A CASTLE THEME AND DO IT AT THE SAND CASTLE IN FRANKLIN SQUARE THEY ARE AMAZING JUST HAD MY WEDDING THERE WISH I COULD HAVE ANOTHER PARTY AGAIN JUST TO DO IT ALL OVER AGAIN THERE. NEXT STEP THE CHRISTENING.

Is a tiki theme like a luau theme? I saw a lot of fun tiki stuff at Target.
