Engagement party Venues. Help!

Hey all, FH and I were planning on having an engagement party. We aren't getting married till 9/2015 but wanna celebrate with family and friends our engagement! My parents are gonna help pay for the party and we are looking at halls. Any recommendations? We are looking at knights of Columbus halls in Nassau county. Any idea on pricing ?? We are planning on having about 60 people. Thank you so much all for any help you can give! Also if anyone knows a dj that we could rent for about 3 hours for the party that would be great.

The Knights of Columbus in Oceanside was nice- I went to a party there but not sure about pricing. I would also 2nd Park Place, I live down the block from there and it's really nice. However, the restaurant is kind of small so if you plan on inviting alot of people then I would look somewhere else..

I also went to an e-party at Mio Posto in Hicksville which was AMAZING. they have a huge back room and you rent out the whole place

Our engagement party was at La Famiglia in Plainview so I am no help for a KOC. But I would highly recommend the restaurant.

As for a dj, i'd look into LISound
