Engagement Party, Where

HI all,

My mother would like to give FH and I an engagement party. She doesnt have a ton of money to spend and I dont want something that is going to down play the wedding itself. Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions on halls??

If you're looking for something this winter, you could always try a Knights of Columbus hall or something of the sort and then have it catered... Churches and Temples probably have rooms for rent as well.

We went to the manor east in north massapequa today and called around a little bit. We are looking to stay in nassau county.

mom is giving us an 'engagement dinner' at the bonwit inn, commack ..i didn't want anything at all so i settled for this..you can try there..not sure of the price but there's a private room

We had ours at a KOC and cooked food for it. It went great everyone had a fantastic time.

We had ours in my backyard, but it's a little cold to do that now. I would think a KOC would be your best bet. You could either have the food catered or you could cook it yourself to keep the cost down.

we had our engagment party at domenicos in levittown. the price was around $30 pp, the room seats up to 200(we had around 90), the food was perfect, the service was perfect, they were amazing. i highly recommend it
