Engagement Photo Shoot

Two questions:
1. What do we wear? We are having them taken outside at a park.

2. Do we tip the photographer? If so how much?

Oh, there was a thread about this a few weeks ago. You want to make sure you and FH are wearing coordinating colors. You don't have to match but you shouldn't clash. Most e-pics I see couples are in jeans. FHs wear a button down shift and girls in a nice top or turtleneck if it's fall. If you are taking them outside you also want to make sure that you are not blending in too much with the outdoor surroundings. For example, don't wear green if you are being photographed in a park during the summer, or an orange top in the fall.

Woops, I forgot about your second question.

I would if the photographer is different from the one who will be there on your wedding day. JIMO, I'm not as she is also photographing my weddin, she is owner/operator and her rates are on the high side. I'm strange about tipping. I believe you get it after the complete service is performed ( you don't tip a waitress half way through the meal) so we are planning to tip her after the entire photo process is done... I have my album. I was up front with her about this.
