Has anyone had an engagement photo shoot done? My photographer offers one and I was wondering if it was worth having it done. Any thoughts?
For a few reasons:
*It will get you and FI used to 'working with' the photographer.
*The photos may show you you 'good side' so you'll know wath to stay away from in your formal wedding shots
* If you are doing a makeup trial the same day - you get a real picture of it.
* Its nice to have some good photos in a casual setting

I agree with everyone who said it is a good opportunity to get to know your photographer, and to get used to working together. Thanks to the poster who suggested having a makeup trial on the same day... I'm definitely going to do that! My engagement photo session is on April 9th. We'll be doing some pictures in the studio, some at a park, and some on the beach. I'm so excited, I can't wait!
