do you normally go with the person you're going to have take photographs at your wedding? or does this not matter. who are some of the photographers that took your engagement photos. and why do people get engagement photos? i was trying to explain this to fh but he didnt understand he thought it was a waste haha.

our wedding photograpger does an engagment photo shoot as part of the package. We used one of the pictures on our save the date card.
I also thought it was a good way for us to get comfortable with the wedding photographer. We loved our pictures and our parents wanted copies.
