Hi.....Can someone please tell me what to wear for engagement photo's? We are getting them done Saturday morning at 10 am. All the photographer told us was that he was taking us to the beach (if it's nice weather). I have no clue what we are supposed to wear to these kind of photo's.... Any ideas would be great! And if anyone has any engagement pictures they could share-that would be really helpful! You could send them to my FM! Thank you

Alot of girls on this site have done beach photos and worn different things. I would say wear whats comfortable for you both!

Its really up to you, I wore capri pants & a nice shirt and he wore casual pants & a nice shirt, but some people wear jeans & shirts its all about what you feel is right. I wanted a little bit of a fancier picture so we wear nicer things but I was also thinking of doing jeans & flip flops both look nice

A white top and jeans looks casual and nice. We took ours at Long Beach at sunset...they came out great. The white top really makes your skin color and eyes pop. Have fun and good luck!

they say dark colors show up best in B&W... maybe black & Denim?

good question!! I'm taking mine in 2 weeks and I've been racking my brain trying to figure out what to wear!
I'm definitely wearing jeans, just what kind and color top. It depends on what color looks good on you and what you are comfortable in. White or black always look nice!

Our photgrapher told us we should try to match (either white shirts and khaki's or white shirts and jeans).
We did the white t-shirts and jeans on the beach, they came out soooo nice!

Wear something comfortable if it's a casual shot... go with what you want your pictures to present...

Thanks everyone! You're ideas all really helped! At first, I thought it would be cheesy to do the matching thing but then I realized from looking at other's engagement photo's, that it looked really nice. He is wearing a short sleeve white button down (two buttons on top w/ collar) and jeans. I am wearing a white sleeveless top (little lace around edges and semi-v neck) w/ a pair of jeans. Of course I picked this out at 2 am last night! Gotta love the last minute decisions!
Ok wish us luck.... Off to our engagement photo's!

Ok, we are all done. Not as expected but it was okay-could have been worse. ADA told us they were bringing us to a beach for the pictures but when we got there, we were told that they had a wedding moved up last minute. So they only had 20 minutes to drive somewhere and take them before he had to leave for the wedding! So instead of the beach, the photographer took us to a lake nearby. Wasn't as expected but the ducks in the background were nice. Will get the pics in about two weeks!
