I think that they should be causal and natrual. IMO done up and dressy are the wedding day pics!!

I had a wardrobe change.. I went with a semi-casual dress and FH wore jeans and a button down. Then I switched in to jeans and we both switched in to 'I'm a Pepper' t-shirts. Photos are in my album. I loved the contrast of the outfits and I'm glad we were able to be a little dressy and then very casual!

i dont think there is a rule. I think you should do whatever you like best. If you dont like getting dressed up then dont do it for the pics bc its not you, and if you dont dress casual then dont do it for the pics bc again same reason. I am not the most casual dresser, i do at times but i tend to get dressed up lol, and im known to wear dresses so yeah there was no deciding , i wore a dress, and yes i also wore one for my wedding but COMPLETELY different look. If i would've been too casual it wouldnt have been me. Also i think the location of the pics plays a part too. If you do the beach then casual. If you do a city setting then yeah dress up if you want, goes with the theme. Plus i also saw it as, how many times do you get to do a professional shoot, so i had fun with it and dressed up. Ive seen both casual dressed e-pics and dressy e-pics and both come out great

I like the idea of dressy casual.. I worse a dress but I didn't get too made up! FH wore a button down and khakis.

I picked a little bit of both. We are doing them on sunday and we will have 2 outfits.

it really depends on YOU.
i love to dress up whenever I can so i definitely wanted to dress up for my e-pics. I loved the way they looked. just like espo commented above, if i would have went for the casual look it wouldnt have felt like me at all.
Go with watever will make you feel the most comfortable. it will be a fun experience
