Just a quick question... how much do engagement pics usually cost?

We didn't book a package, we booked everything we wanted separately.

That being said, our e-pics fee is $100. However, we need to stay within a certain amount of miles of our photog's studio. We could go somewhere else for a higher price.

We're fine with staying near the studio and going to a nearby park

mine came with the photography package. most of them do, so if you didn't book your photographer hold out until you do.

mine were included too..
since FH doesn't like pics, i said no to that, and they threw in more pics for the album

Or you can get them done for free. Look on craigslist and there are usually alot of free photographers on their looking to beef up their portfolios.

A photography friend of mine did our e-pics as an engagement present to us but I believe she normally charges around $300.

duet told us it was around 300 to add to their lower package

I haven't booked a photographer yet, We are thinking of having a family friend who is a photographer do our wedding pics, and she charges $200. I love her pictures, and I figured that booking her for E pics would be a good way to see if we want to def. book her for the wedding.

I think that's the best idea. If they come out great, then you'll feel confident that u made the right choice, if not, then you'll know so that you can look around and book elsewhere.
