We just got engaged this past week, so I'm new here : ) There is so much to do and plan! What are your thoughts on engagement photos? Do you wait until you book a photographer and get it as part of the package or do you book someone separately? Any good places that you know of for a session?

I would probably book your photographer first since most of them include the engagement shoot as a gift.

Congrats! Yes i agree with Yvonne-- My photographer does it-- Im doing them in a Park in Staten Island in April =) so then i can send the STD's out!

Agreed. Almost all photographers include them now.

My photographer company (Fade to Black) offers the e-shoot in their packages. It is a good way to become comfortable with your photographer before the wedding.
