old westbury gardens but i think they charge a fee
i did mine at the south street seaport in the city (free!)

Morgan Park is really nice and Long Beach
I did mine at Coney Island....but those were the two places my photographer suggested at first.

I did mine in Brooklyn around the Brooklyn bridge. It was nice and most imporantly FREE! I had my heart set on the Brooklyn Botanical Gardens but they charged like $250!

that must have been amazing! I mean it's an amazing moment anyway but with that backdrop...I'm a sucker for cherry trees

We just did ours two weeks ago and we took pictures on a sod farm out east right before hitting Riverhead that had a beautiful barn. So we got the open grass look and a rustic barn. Then we went out to the beach for sunset shots.
There are so many places out east you can use for FREE. Depends on what you are looking for.

We did ours at Morgan Park in Glen Cove. There's a great stone structure and a beach and some wooded areas. I have a few pics in my album. HTH

I think a good photog can get great, beautiful, interesting shots in the most mundane place. WE did yours at the Babylon train station and at first I was like... really Tom? But he did an awesome job getting artistic shots. Love them.
