Engagement Pics

Hello...

Well my FI and I want to take Engagement pics...
Did you guys took Engagement Pics?
How much did they cost?
Who has the best deal??

How does it works? Like we go to any place with a photographer? or... how???

well a lot of girls get there engagement pics as part of the package with their photographers, though you can pretty much go with any photog you want for engagement pics. I would just shop around, see which photog styles you like and then get price quotes from them. We got our done by a friend of mine who gave them to us as an engagement present so we did pay for ours.

There really is no set time when you have to take them, it just has to be sometime before the wedding, otherwise it just doesn't make much sense LOL.

As far as location, you can take them pretty much where ever you want. Some places (like parks) require permits so you might want to check on that first.

We are doing our Engagement Shoot in a few weeks with our Photographer. It was part of the package that we chose for our wedding.

Originally FH and I were pretty against doing them (we both don't like taking pictures), but it was for this reason that people we spoke to suggested it was a good idea. It gives you an opportunity to get familiar with the photographer and to make sure you get along well.

We are taking them now because we would like to use some of the photos from the shoot for our Save the Dates. We are having a destination wedding so we need to send this info out sooner rather than later.

We got them as part of our package with Artisan.

Chuck usually likes to go to CW Post, but I really want to go to Brooklyn Botanical Garden during cherry blossom season

So i should NOT go right now and tkae them seperate since they come with the package???

ours was free... we found him on craiglist and he was offering free session since he is new talent...

so he had him come to our engagement dinner

I know a free place that offer free e pics as part of the process of selecting the company. They like to show you what it would be like if you selected them. I have an appointment with Bella Studios next weekend. It should be interesting.

No becuse there is NO wedding date yet....

it will be some time around Sep-Oct 2011... it all depends... sicne we are tryin to get a house first...
