Engagement PICS

We finally booked our engagement pictures for
July 11th with J'Adore!!!

So now the questions for you ladies...

1. Can you share any of your engagement pics to get an idea of outfits? I have no clue what we want to be wearing. (just to give a little background, we'll probably be doing them in central park, then downtown near the brooklyn bridge.)

2. Second question...would you suggest getting hair and makeup for these pictures???

3. Last, anyone have any suggestions for low cost hair and makeup in the city on a Sunday morning?

if you're a makeup/hair dunce like me then absolutely... totally worth sprining for because these are important pictures!!

we had pictures taken before we actually were engaged... we both wore jeans and black tops.

we will get more dressed up this time around but it depends where you get them taken.

if you go to the beach jeans are great. or a sundress.

its gonna be hot so i'd suggest a dress.

my friend who does epictures says the things that really add to pictures are great shoes on the girl... and the guy NOT wearing shorts. he said most guys look doofy in shorts and should just avoid it at all costs (Again unless you're at the beach)

I got both my hair and makeup done...I had my BM straighten it the night before and I went to the M.A.C. counter in Nordstrom to have my makeup done.

FYI that Ulta no longer exists...I tried to go there the other day and it was a no go. Totally empty.

I had my hair done but just a blow out. Oksana did my make up. I cannot tell you how much I LOOOOVVVVEEEE Oksana.

i do suggest getting your hair and make up done, just one less thing to think about and stress over, dont know of any places in the city i can recommend though sorry
