engagement pics?

Hi girls so fh and I are getting our pictures done next Thursday. Did any of you get your hair and make up done for the pictures? If so where do you recommend?

I'm definitely going to do hair and makeup! I already did my makeup trial with Sandra Baldini, whom I'm using for the wedding otherwise I should have planned it so that my pictures and makeup were same day. Whoops. I'll get my mom to do my makeup haha I think she missed her calling in life. She's pretty good. I am going to be my pictures soon as well! Have fun! Sorry I wasn't more help with recommendations.

i agree!!! I have a $25 gift cert. to the place i normally get my hair done and i just got a cut so I was thinking of going to get my hair curled and doing my own make up. i was thinking of doing a make up trial but the place i want to book doesn't do them at the time i would need unfortunately. I think I might just keep it simple for the pictures!!! thats what photoshop is for if i look bad!! ahahah

I plan on it. I'll probably just get a blow out but definitely want my makeup done since I don't wear a lot normally and I don't want my features to get lost in the pics.

I had my make up done at MAC for my engagement party. Technically it's free, you only have to buy $50 worth of cosmetics. It was definitely worth it. I'm going back for my engagement photos

We're doing ours on September 30th and my friend who is a MUA who will be doing my make up for the wedding is going to be doing it as well as my hair.

Totally worth the money IMO.

I didn't. We really wanted our engagement pictures to just be us, naturally. We are having wedding photos all spruced up so we wanted something down to earth/casual for our engagement shoot.

We have our engagement shoot on October 15th. I will be getting my makeup done by Jacqueline Nicole, whom I have booked for my wedding. Definitely check her out, she was amazing. I decided to do a more natural look for makeup, but wanted it professionally done. As for hair, I want to wear it the way I normally do, so I'm just doing a blowout.

I had my hair and makeup done. Hair was blown out and curled - by Randi Ross. And I had a makeup trial with Christina Amador. I loved them both and Christina was amazing.

Mine are tomorrow!!! I'm getting my hair blown out (just so I don't have to deal honestly) and am having the woman I will prob use for the wedding do my makeup. I had a trial with regular makeup already, so tomorrow she's going to try airbrush on me to see if I like it!
