Im doig my engagement photo shoot in 3 weeks. Idk what to wear. We are doing it on the beach by the lighthouse i believe in port jefferson. What should i wear? Dress? Long ? Short? Color?

I would say a dress. I've seen a lot of people do white, but I think any color would work. What about your bridal party color?

I'm prob going to bring a few options so the photog can tell me which will work best
I'm planning on bringing a short white dress, a gray cotton dress, and a more casual outfit - prob high-wasted shorts and a cute tank

I was told jeans and heels since they make your legs look long but whatever your comfortable in

I think you could bring a short dress and a jeans outfit....the beachy ones look so nice with a dress!

I would do jeans, I like the casual look of it in engagement pics...that's my vote! (PS.....and bring a dress just in case!)

We did 2 outfits - me in a dress, FH in khakis, and then both of us in jeans. (pics in my album). Our photographer said we made good choices in our clothing pics.

Keep the weather in mind; I was going to have mine done on the beach. It was a beautiful day, however, it was extremely windy at the beach. Couldn't have them done there because I was in a dress, we ended up going to a nearby park and was not as nice. I would suggest shorts or jeans.

Dress in the style you want your pictures in. We wanted a classic look, so i wore a vinatge dress and FH wore a 3 peice suit and bow tie. if you want casual pics go for the jeans and T. just don't go too trendy- you want to look back at the pics and remeber how happy you were not laugh at the dated style of clothing
