Hi ladies! Should we tip our photographer after our eshoot, and if so, how much? Not sure if we're supposed to tip now and at the wedding or just at the wedding :)

Re: ENGAGEMENT PICS QUESTION, please help!!!
I tipped mine even though he is the owner- definitely wanted to leave things on a good foot since he will be our photographer the day of wedding. I tipped $50 because we had such a great experience & he was patient enough to let me change 3times

Re: ENGAGEMENT PICS QUESTION, please help!!!
We tipped the assistant $40 that came with our photographer because the photographer is the owner. I know that we aren't supposed to tip the owner but I plan to at the wedding.

I tip everyone--I never want to be improper although I am unsure of the exact etiquette when an owner is involved as a vendor

Re: ENGAGEMENT PICS QUESTION, please help!!!
We tipped our photographer 50 and he had a young assistant we tipped either 10 or 20. Our photographer is the owner, but I feel a job well done deserves a tip either way.

I would offer but ours wouldn't accept our tip. We'll make up for it the day of the wedding

Re: ENGAGEMENT PICS QUESTION, please help!!!
Thanks everyone! We had out shoot yesterday and weren't sure what to do, but the photographer's headquarters are close to my parents' house so when I go visit my parents this weekend I'm going to drop in and leave a tip at the desk for him :) I feel kind of silly not knowing, but you live you learn!
