FH and I are scheduled to take our engagement pictures this Thursday at Old Westbury Gardens.
I keep checking the weather and it looks like it is going to rain. Do you guys think we should just wing it either way?
UPDATE - Ok so the man upstairs was good to us today Old Westbury Gardens is breathtaking and I am so glad we picked there to take our pictures.
Woo from Duet is so creative and has the most amazing eye for the best shots. We had so much fun, but the only thing was I wore heals like an idiot. My shoes kept geting stuck in the grass, we were walking on cobble stone, over branches, etc.. and my feet were killing me But, at one point FH had to actually give me a piggy back ride I was in so much pain and Woo just kept clicking away and probably got the most amazing pic's. So note to self ladies, don't go there in heals! Other then that it was a perfect day and I can't wait to see these pictures and share them with you ladies

If it's raining, I would reschedule. You still have so much time until your wedding... we rescheduled 3x due to weather!

I saw reschedule it .... You want nice pretty pics in the sun! It's not like it is your wedding day.. this is something you can reschedule!

Mine were supposed to be tomorrow and they called me today and told me to cancel because there was a chance of rain.
we are hoping for wednesday now. I only have about two weeks left in NY, so i have to get them done before that!

It poured the day of my e-pics!!! I couldn't reschedule b/c we had taken the day off of work. So we took them inside at East Wind, I was a little dissappointed that I couldn't take them at the beach but they still came out great.

i would probably reschedule bari. BUT if you want to compromise with FH it would be kind of cute and romantic to take pics in the rain with a cute umbrella or soemthing. probably not what u want but just a thought.

We are going for ours this thursday to and I am going through the same thing with FH. We are taking ours at the beach so if its raining there really is no point. I think we will reschedule ours....
But if you really wanna make use of the gardens I would just reschedule.

I guess I would reschedule if you can but the mansion at OWG is a GREAT alternative and I doubt it is going to rain all day. I am sure you would be able to get a few outside shots at the very least.

I'm in the minority here but it doesn't say rain for Thursday during the day. It does say cloudy and those are some of the best pics with it overcast.

I would definitley reschedule. You can't really compare it to your wedding day because that is a day you can not switch but with your engagement pics you get a choice. Your gonna want nice weather.
