Can anyone recommend a good place to take engagement pictures?

We took ours at Brookwood Hall in East Islip. Small park with a little lake and some cute photo ops.. pics in my album =)

We took ours at Gantry Park overlooking the NYC skyline. Gorgeous place!

We also went to Gantry Plaza State Park. It's in Long Island City and has great views of the East side of Manhattan. It's also where the huge Pepsi sign is (we're Coke fans, so we stayed away from that :D). You can also take pics on benches and grass and against stone walls, so it gives you a variety of looks.

Parking is just a pain because it's all street parking.

Best of all, it's free! Well, I think technically, you're supposed to get a permit from NYC. But we didn't and no one stopped us, and there were at least 2 bridal parties there when we were there.

I did my e-shoot at Coney Island, but I just wanted to say I love Gantry State park. It's where FH proposed to me

Our shoot is next Sunday and I'm still torn about where to go! We are in between Northport village and a Christmas tree farm in Huntington. I know argyle park in Babylon is also a popular spot for pics.

It's gorgeous there!!! I had no idea about the permit haha...No one said anything to us. So much fun and such great picture shots :)
