Engagement picture questions...

We have Steve from Patken,,we can have Doug for our engagement shots if we want the nudeyones..which I love..but I kind of want soem nice pictures also and we do need to meet Steve anyhow..my questions are..I knwo an 8 x 10 comes with the package, but whats an average people usually spend on buyng the other engagemant pictures..they take a few right? Do you keep those proofs? How much do you tip the photographer for taking teh E shots? We will probably be doing this soon, so any advice would be great!

I got quite a few e pics from Steve.

I tipped him $20, I think

I gave alot of mine away & never even made the 8x10 yet and I did them last July!

I will do it when I do my wedding album

actually.. i think they changed it.. I asked about the proofs and they said its now done on a digital camera and that id have to talk to the photographer...

I didn't get proofs either and now they give you an 8X8 and you can buy a frame there (b/c its next to impossible to find that size frame).

They get you one way or another - but I'm so happy with them I didn't care.

How much does a frame cost? So do they just take a couple shots and then you choose the best one? It'll be tough..Ill want them all even if they dont look good,..Im wierd like that!!

lori: when did this go into effect?? I have a signed contract from January that says I get an 8x10.

Are they taking all pics (including wedding pics) on digital cameras now???

Alicia: How much do the nudey pics cost? Do you get to take nudey and clothed pics, ot just nudey ones? I was going to call them, but I've been so busy studying that I haven't had a chance.

unusual frame sizes can always be gotten from michaels craft store... i know im goin to end up wanting all of them!

My contract actually says an 8 x 10 as well..but didnt know how it worked with the proofs! I want em!!!

mine says 8 x 8.. but i also had them throw in a sheet of wallets with it

I received an 8x10 and all of my proofs. I did not tip. Didn't even think of it.

wait ladies! I am in the middle of doing my album & already have 56 pics picked out, John is going to kill me , I still have another proof album to go through too
